Just for my memory, all of the things that I was able to accomplish during the time off. This doesn’t even include the projects we did during the nesting phase before Miles was born, and things we combined as successes like paying off Stevie’s student loans.
House Maintenance and Upgrades
- Replaced the garage door.
- Resealed the driveway.
- Knocked down a wall.
- Installed hardwood floors.
- Replaced or upgraded appliances:
- Upgraded the fridge.
- Replaced the washer and dryer.
- Built a new railing.
- Ensured all appliances were up and running.
Cleaning and Organization
- Completed a significant amount of cleaning, particularly tasks that were in backlog.
- Cleaned and repurposed old technology:
- Disassembled old computers and used the parts creatively.
Personal Projects
- Built a mini computer.
- Created a home media library.
